AgriGrub have formed a partnership with Tesco
Insect protein could help tackle some of the largest environmental challenges our society faces, including food waste and deforestation. AgriGrub, one of the Eastern Agritech Innovation Hub Licensees, are working with Tesco's citrus fruit supplier and soft fruit supplier to allow them to trial feeding the insects different types of food waste. This partnership will help understand how waste fruit and vegetables can be fed to insects like black soldier fly larvae, which once fully grown can be turned into animal feed.
